History Prior to its establishment in 1962, Hot Spring Elementary School was once a classroom of Jianhe Elementary School in 1958. The following year – with the contribution of the community – the school relocated to a discarded barrack and, upon request, began to serve as a subsidiary campus of Jianhe. In 1961, through a fundraising held by the community and the support of local government, the school acquired its property and moved into its newly built building. Then finally in 1962, the school was officially granted its separation and received its official name as Hot Spring Elementary School. In 2005, Hot Spring Elementary School began the admission of its first kindergarten in compliance with national policy, making it the seventh class besides the first to sixth grades.
